The capital, Tbilisi, is known for its old town’s various construction and puzzling flagstone highways.
In winter, you can visit here with your entire family to spend the Christmas holidays and enjoy the winter holidays tradition. Many things will attract you, like tree bolts of lightning, grocery stores, light shows, and this place becomes jampacked. The month’s chief attraction is Winter Wonder Lights at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia, offered by the University of Georgia Public Service and Outreach unit.

Winter Wonder Lights event
Due to the pandemic, everyone was locked in their homes, and they were bounded to visit this place. This year, the State Botanical Garden of Georgia transformed into a sparkling winter wonderland for people to enjoy a half-mile walk-through of eleven magical light displays, open fires for roasting, hot cocoa, and photo ops.

You can enjoy all the spaces like Peppermint Plaza, Candy Cane Lane, and Cone Tree Plaza. You will feel like magic when you enter the garden with its wonderland of lights.

When to get there
If you enjoy the magic of holiday nights, be sure to reach on time at nightfall to observe the conversion of a botanical garden to a magical holiday forest. Winter Wonder Lights is on display from 5:30 – 9:00 pm every evening from December 1-5, 8-12, 15-23, 26-30, 2021, and January 2-9, 2022.
Shopping
The Alice Hand Callaway Visitor Center changed into a holiday market of gifts and souvenirs.
Eating
You can enjoy light refreshments and beverages like cookies, open-fire roasted dishes, water-packed in a bottle, hot chocolate and throughout the entire light show, you can enjoy coffee.
Logistics
The wholly ADA available walk-through takes about an hour, but if you’re anything like me, leave extra time for pictures and smores, of course!
Parking
You will park your vehicle just down the street from the State Botanical Garden of Georgia access that offers accessible transport to the attraction. You will get VIP parking here.

$15 with free admission for ages 3 and under – $13.50/Friends of the Garden $13.50/20+ Groups.
